Meditation for Athletes: Deep Field and Improvement

When you sit quietly and just look quietly at the universe, you can see almost to the beginning of time. "Hubble Extreme Deep Field" Quietly viewing one small patch of sky for days, yields the discovery of thousands of galaxies we never knew about before...

Application: View - picture it in your mind - your training and performance from a distance, as if you are watching it on TV - the way you would your favorite pro or college athletes - and then critique - judge - and fix. "How can I do that better?" Lose the ego and ask honestly. Always improving, relaxing and improving. If you just keep making the same mistakes over and over - or worse not even admitting you have flaws in your game - you will Never see the Deep Field.
